The serum separation gel produced by Desheng Company is colorless or light yellow transparent colloid, with good thixotropy and air tightness, and is physiologically inert. 1. Specific gravity:
1.045-1.065g/cm3, between the specific gravity of serum (plasma) and blood cells, PRP gel has two specific gravity of 1.055 and 1.078, which are used to separate platelets and serum components respectively.
2. Viscosity:
Between 100,000 and 200,000 poise (dynamic viscosity measured by rotational viscometer)
3. Thixotropy:
When the object (such as paint) is sheared, the consistency becomes smaller, when the shearing is stopped, the consistency increases again, or when the whole is cut, the consistency becomes larger, and when the shearing is stopped, the consistency becomes smaller. 4. Physiological inertia:

5. Radiation resistance:
Blood collection tubes are required to be sterile, and are generally irradiated with gamma rays. After gamma ray irradiation, the properties do not change significantly, including specific gravity viscosity, thixotropy, etc.
6. Stability:
On the one hand, the separation gel is required to be stable for a long time, at least two years, and the physical and chemical properties cannot change significantly. In addition, the separation gel and various additives in the blood collection tube cannot react, which affects the efficacy of the reagent and thus affects the blood test.
